Dr. Natalie Sukontasup, O.D.

Dr. Natalie Sukontasup (Sue-con-ta-sup) is also known as Dr. Sukon. Dr. Sukon is originally from Long Island, New York and moved to Ellicott City, Maryland in 2003. Dr. Sukon graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998 with a B.S. in Pharmacological Science. She earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree at the State University of New York in Manhattan in 2003. Dr. Sukon has served the residents of Howard County and its surrounding community for over 14 years.
Dr. Sukon provides adult and pediatric comprehensive vision exams. She is therapeutically licensed to diagnose and treat eye disease, acute red eyes, dry eye syndrome and learning-related vision problems. She also co-manages with surgical specialists in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, and Lasik refractive surgery. Dr. Sukon specializes in challenging contact lens fits such as medically necessary contact lenses (post corneal transplants/Kerataconus), bifocal contact lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, and corneal refractive therapy (myopia-control). In addition to providing her patients with a high standard of care, she is also dedicated to helping fellow optometrist in the state of Maryland reach new ground through her work serving on the executive board as Second Vice President of the Maryland Optometric Association.
Dr. Sukon lives in Ellicott City, Maryland, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. As a travel enthusiast she combines her love for traveling with providing eye care to the underserved population around the world.
